This workshop helps you bring obedience to life with enthusiasm, precision and confidence. We will explore innovative training techniques, reward and correction strategies, and ways to build resilience and drive. You will learn to challenge your dog for greater reliability, develop essential soft skills for training and competition, and tackle personalized challenges in “handler’s choice” sessions. Think obedience is boring? Let’s change that: push boundaries, problem-solve, and become the handler your dog deserves

Nita has been training and competing for over 30 years. From fumbling through novice and open with her first dog, she has pushed herself to improve and learn new techniques and skills with each dog. She has been fortunate to have amazing canine teammates who have brought their own challenges, pushing her out of her comfort zone to pursue more and more knowledge from trainers outside the normal AKC style obedience training. Her current passion is taking soft, timid dogs and nurturing them into brave beasts who will fight to complete their tasks.
